When you arrive in Austria, the first thing you should do is visit “Steffi”. This is the nickname given by the Austrians to St. Stephen’s Cathedral. This ancient temple is located in Vienna.

It is unique in that its roof is decorated with ancient mosaics. Its spire reaches a height of 136 meters. It is situated in the heart of Austria’s capital. It is the main attraction of the country.

After the cathedral, you can go on a tour of the palace. Especially since this architectural creation is also located in Vienna. So, our next destination is the Hofburg Palace. Although, it would be more accurate to call it a castle. Historians claim that it was built in the Middle Ages.

The palace has been restored several times. Now it is the residence of the President of Austria. The castle is now the residence of the president of Austria, but this does not prevent most tourists from taking the opportunity to tour the ancient corridors of the castle.

The next place to visit is the most exotic animal sanctuary in the world. We are talking about the Zoo at Schönbrunn. It opened its doors to visitors in 1570.

And so much has changed since then. Schönbrunn Zoo has seen many renovations, repairs and restorations. New and exciting animal species are constantly being added to its collection. They all live in large aviaries.

20 years ago, the Austrian mint issued a commemorative 5 euro coin to mark the zoo’s anniversary. The animal life in the zoo is shown on it.

As you have already guessed, we are moving to the Neusiedlere-Zewinkel National Park. It is world famous for its amazing landscapes and beautiful scenery. You can see a huge number of birds here. Watching them is a great way to de-stress and provide some yoga.
